Tucson, AZ. Nestled in a historic building in colorful downtown Tucson is a distinctive specialty grocer and restaurant cluster under the marque Maynard's Market & Kitchen with whom we're proud to be partnered.

On our way back to Colorado from the 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo race, we stopped in to see Tom, the caring manager of Maynard's, whom we met through our long-time mutual friends Susan and Kurt, owners of O2 Modern Fitness and FitWorks Cycling Support, located just around the corner.

After a delicious cup of coffee and a pastry, we were back on the desert road.

The Denver Post - Ride the Rockies?

The Denver Post lobby
Denver, CO. On hearing that the Ride the Rockies bike tour, a venerable multi-day stage ride that spans 400 miles, was going to finish in our hometown of Fort Collins this year, we figured we ought to look into opportunities to put On the Wheel in front of the event's participants and organizers since they'd naturally be most interested in it.

After a few emails, we decided that a trip down to Denver might be in order, even if just to leave samples of the glassware with the organizing folks. We've known that On the Wheel really speaks for itself - people either get it, or they don't (they usually do... and if they don't, well... more for those who do!), so we felt taking the time to drop in would be worthwhile.

Fortunately, the reception staff in the lobby of the Denver Post building were superbly helpful and pleasant to get Amy, one of the event's fine organizers, to come on downstairs and meet in person. We had a cordial and brief conversation, exchanged info, and would get back in touch...
